pixie dust

A long time ago, in an apartment in Manhattan, two poets named David and Aimee started playing around with poetry and music. Mashed them together. It began with Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. Then, they took their own poems and wrote instrumentation. Added in some more folks like Zita Zenda and Starchilde. Some shows. Performances at festivals, bars and theaters. Then, the marvelous Eric Alter joined and Hydrogen Junkbox continued to bloom. Our song list grew and David said: Let’s record an album. So, we started to meet in a studio in Staten Island. There was some whiskey and even a crashed wedding. Songs were placed inside an album called “Pixie Dust” and the rest is history.
